The Future is Bright for the Children at ACM
“He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge…” Psalm 91:4
Excitement is in the air and we are watching as it surrounds the staff and students of ACM. Discipleship deepens, a new school year has begun, and new areas are opening. As we look around this troubled country, we can clearly see a God that is on the move and in the hearts of His children.
Our beloved Joshua School opened with 18 children, 3 teachers, and 3 assistants. We are so blessed that there was no damage from the earthquake to the school building or the homes of the staff and children. Please pray for these children and families as the staff continues to help these special children grow spiritually, physically, academically and emotionally.
The children of Hope Children’s Home entered their 4th year at private school! We are so thankful for your support as these children K-12 are truly getting an education that far exceeds the government run public schools. They are excited about the opportunity to work hard and succeed.
Four of our five ACM Preschools have opened and through prayer, attendance has increased! In these trying times with the war escalating, we are thankful to provide this environment for the children that provides education and the love of God! Our school in Myitkyina’s Comfort Village cannot open at this time. There is fighting and war in the area and the people of this village, once an IDP Camp, ask for prayer as they seek safety and an end to the fighting.
