In the remote Buddhist fishing village of Putaik Gyi, a fifth grade student named Myo Win learned about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Myo Win was very surprised. He said, “Our God Gaudama is dead. You said your Jesus resurrected. I have never heard that before. Can Burmese people worship him too?” A thriving children’s church now exists because of kids like Myo Win: young people who desire to worship Jesus and share the Good News of the Resurrection with family and friends.
This is only one of seven churches planted through ACM’s work with children. Over 500 people attend these churches weekly. Many of them are seekers, and some are new Christians.
