MISSION TRIP TO BANGLADESH BORDER
had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia..
Acts 16:9.”
I was called to come and help to teach DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING at
Palawah Mission field, located between Bangladesh and India border,
extremely remote area. But I was quite fear to go as I heard bad
news..
“31 people died by MENINGITIS (Swollen brain laver), Many people were
killed by the fighting between Rohinjar and Rakhine groups, One young
man died by turning over boat, One young man was killed by soldier,
two young women were raped by soldiers.”
We have preached and planted Christian Churches in this areas 8 years
ago. We trained local people to be DISCIPLES and appointed the elders
and local pastors. This is very important in Mission field to choose
local leaders and entrusted the church to lead them grow.
Even there is great danger, I decided to go with the local Mission
team, who know the road, the way to escape in danger, and hunger. I took three local trained disciples and made this adventure mission.
4 DAYS FOR TRAVEL..
We flew to Sittwe from Yangon and the next day, we took bus to continue to Kyaw Taw and the third day, we took small boat, driving
along Kisapanade river and then turned into Samee Stream and continued. We stayed half way and the fourth day, We were supposed to
walk, hiking big mountain ranges, but Thank God… That we have enough water to continue to drive our boat.
“WEAR SWIM SUIT”
I told the team in the morning, But Pastor Luke did not wear it. On
the half way, our boat hit the rock and the boat was about to turn
over. We all jumped down into the water. Pastor Luke was unable to
swim and almost died as he did wear slow, long pant, and jacket. Paul
rescued him. Eventually, we reached YAW WAH Village where all the
leaders gathered for our preaching and teaching.
3 DAYS TEACHING AND PREACHING
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not
from yourselves, it is the gift of God– 9not by works, so that no one
can boast. 10For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do
good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephe.. 2:8 –
10.”
WE preached and teached… GOD’S GRACE.. and then PURPOSE OF CHRISTIAN
LIFE to do GOOD WORKS.
RESULT AND FRUITS OF MISSION TRIP
Many people come to know God’s love and the meaning of Christian
Life.. And we gave BAPTISM to 24 new converts.
