These organizations provide support to Asian Children’s Mission through monetary gifts, creative services, equipment donations and prayer. ACM could not function as successfully as it does without the help of these excellent groups. Working together, we can leverage our resources for maximum effect.
IDES has provided funding for emergency relief projects in Myanmar as well as help with many of ACM’s community development projects.
FAME provided funding for ACM leadership to participate in a seven-week community development seminar in the Philipines in 2010. ACM staff members are also providing local leadership for a FAME medical mission to Myanmar in January 2014.
LATM provided funding to translate and publish a children’s Sunday School curriculum on the Life of Christ in the Myanmar language as well as the ethnic language of Rawang.
Hopeful Hearts Foundation’s mission is to provide medical and nutritional aid along with basic living necessities for orphan children. They have helped to provide needed facilities at Hope Children’s Home near Yangon.
The Jesus Film project is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. After researching Christian non-profits working in Southeast Asia, a leader on the Jesus Film team inquired about a partnership with ACM to show the film in communities where we do development work. ACM was given a solar-powered projector and copies of the film in several languages spoken in Myanmar.
Good News Productions is the video and audio production company that employs Maeram’s husband Timothy. They have produced two videos for use in ACM presentations and are assisting with the production and release of ACM’s Life of Christ video series.
Asia Christian Services is led by veteran missionaries to Southeast Asia. Their work in developing indigenous leaders in Myanmar over the last 50 years has made ACM’s work possible. Leader LaVerne Morse has served as Joana’s mentor. In addition, ACM and ACS coordinate on some relief projects.
